update

Here's just an ironic little update to yesterday's post about the bus incident. This morning I got a call from the school to tell me that Seth had received a 'golden ticket'. Now, golden tickets are a program our school has that reward children for exemplary behavior that they are 'caught' in, unprompted, just of their own accord. The child is taken to the office, where they call home to tell you how great your kid is. (This is the second one Seth has gotten already this year.) They are given out randomly by any teacher or adult in the school, not just within the normal classroom setting. Seth's award today was given by the bus driver for "demonstrating such respectful and helpful behavior". I wonder if she felt a little bad about slightly overreacting a couple weeks ago... *giggle*
