Had to cancel a meeting tonight, due to sickness for some of the 'attendees' (bad), but freed up a night and got an unexpected chance to have a date (good!). Didn't do anything particularly exciting, but since we hadn't had a date in almost 2 months, it was really nice to just sick and talk and have uninterrupted, adult conversation! We grabbed dinner, then some Starbucks and ended up coming home and talking in the car for about 1/2 an hour before heading in. (Something in me feels the need to say "Yes, we were just talking!!" It must be residual from the interrogations of my teenage years!)

Anyway...
