The first is a mysterious smell...stench really...that is slowly filling my house and I have no idea what on earth it is!!! I noticed it yesterday when I got home from work, and it seems to be getting increasingly worse. It smells like if you leave something wet sitting tied up in a plastic bag, or forget a load of laundry in the washer for several days. And I've checked, and double checked, and it's neither of those things. I'm a little bit fearful, because we've had mysterious bad smells in our house before (well, not this house, it was our first rental as newlyweds) and it involved finding a cat skeleton in our drop ceiling months later. Gross. Not an experience I wish to repeat. I'm also a little nervous because the smell seems to be concentrated right at the doorway to the laundry room, which is right below the bathroom, and our bathtub has had problems with leaking. I'm praying that we aren't about to find a major disaster.
The second things driving me down crazy lane this morning is this rash that has appeared on both my arms since Tuesday when I was working in the geraniums at the greenhouse.
Unless some poison ivy managed to get into the greenhouse (which I 'm thinking if fairly unlikely), then apparently I'm having an allergic reaction to the geraniums. Who ever heard of being allergic to geraniums?? Well, I've never had problems with any plants before, but I guess just having my bare arms actually rubbing in and on them all day was more than my skin could take. Being such the delicate flower that I am and all... HA!!Anyway, if you think of me today, I could use a quick prayer for an extra dose of grace to NOT itch, and that I will be able to discover the source of the putrid smell...and that there will be an easy fix for it!!

Putrid smell here, too. You're not alone. I'm offa here to do some sleuthing cuz I don't know where it's coming from.
The rash I can't tell. Might be PI. Might be a reaction to chemicals? or sap from certain plants? Try hydrocortisone cream for the itch.
