diorama monday

I'm surprised it's been a week already since my last post! Last week turned out to be a bit crazy I guess, since we had yet another snow event...which really turned out to be no event at all (the storm fizzled) but it still got the kids off of school, yet again. So, the week ended up being a bit out of whack for me. I'm looking forward to having a normal week this week before the rest of the month gets all helter-skelter with upcoming spring breaks, play practices, swap meets, conferences and other craziness!

Anyway, this morning as I was helping repair Seth's desert habitat diorama he made for school, he asked me to please post a picture of it on my blog. He did it entirely himself, with the exception of things I hot glued for him, AND I think my kids feel like having their pictures or being talked about on my blog makes them famous. (Ha! For all, what 5? of my readers??) But I thought he did such a great job on this...did I mention he did it all himself??...that I was proud to post it to kick off the new week. (The yellow thing on the rock is a coyote, and the balls of crumpled paper are tumbleweeds.)

Here's to the start of a great week!
