Tonight I logged on the laptop to check my e-mails and all my favorite blogs before heading off to bed. Much to my dismay, my 'bookmarks' seem to be gone!! You know, that little tab that nicely and neatly secures all your favorite websites so that you can go directly to them every day to keep tabs on all your family, friends and get updates on all the really important things in life (like Facebook and coffee info...). Well, mine have mysteriously disappeared!! I handed the laptop over to my much more tech-savvy husband, who did a thorough search of everything he could think of, but to no avail. It's like the very first day that I logged on...nothing familiar or sacred...just new and unsaved. Oh, well. I'm still holding out hope that tomorrow morning they will reappear just as mysteriously as they disappeared. If not, I guess that's one way to clean out my 'bookmarks' and only my true favorites (onesthat I can remember) will reappear, and if I can't remember them, then maybe they just weren't that important!!
(By the way, if anyone has any clue what might have happened or how to retrieve them, I'd be very interested in that bit of info!!)

I've read your post to my also more tech savvy husband and he said that he would be happy to do an online meeting with you and see if he can "find" them. He said it's too much to type so you can just call him. Oh No! I hope you are able to recover them. After such a mess myself, I decided to store all my favorites in my hotmail. I actually set up a spaces account (through hotmail/msn) and have all my lists nicely organized by topic etc...just a suggestion. It's also nice b/c I can access them from any computer.

Holly, I will probably have Todd call David, because Todd will actually understand what he is saying, whereas I most likely will not!!
If anybody can help you find them, it will be David!! He is THE man!!! LOL
Have Todd call whenever he has time! David will do what he can to help ya! I don't understand all the stuff he can do, but most of the time he gets stuff back! It's like magic!!!
