I got my nose pierced! I know not everyone likes it, and I'm ok with that. I like how it looks and so does my hubby (I wouldn't have gotten it done if I didn't have his 100% support!) and I got the thumbs up from my friends who's fashion opinions carry weight with me.
The second reason I decided to go for it is that I'm hoping it will be another connection point with the generation that we are hoping to reach through the ministry of Koinonia House. (By the way, if you're considering doing this, FYI, it hurts - a LOT!!)

I got my belly button pierced right after I graduated from college. That HURTS a ton too! I keep it in for a few years and then just kinda took the ring out... I'm telling ya, the whole where it was isn't pretty when you’re pregnant! I don't guess that'll be problem with the nose ring!
