It was a beautiful moment this afternoon when, after spending a tearful morning of explaining and practicing the math concept of 'borrowing', Bryce looked up sheepishly (after his 3rd page of working the problems using the concept), gave me a half-grin and said "This borrowing is kinda fun now..."YES!
Another highlight...doing flashcards with Seth, revealing he can identify all the numbers to 100, including several he's seemed to get stuck on it the past.
Whoo-hoo!
What a sense of accomplishment. Even though it seemed like kind of a 'downer' day, I'm glad for these rays of sunshine that broke through the clouds.
