prayers for Sarah

Seth came home from school yesterday and was visibly shaken as he shared with me the news that a father of a girl in his class was killed in a motorcycle crash on Sunday night. The guidance counselor came in and discussed it with them, along with his teacher. He said he didn't cry, but they both did. He said he just couldn't imagine losing his dad. He said she must be so sad, because he knows he was sad when Pappy died, and that he was my dad, and he knows sometimes I still cry.

He said the guidance counselor told them that if they believe in God, they could pray for Sarah. We did.

I'm sure Sarah and her family could use all the prayers they can get right now, so if you wouldn't mind...

Along with Seth, I can't even imagine....
